Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Safety and Health Training Coordinator to join the Turquoise Ridge Team.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the mid-year Safety Training Plan Coordinate the ART Safety Training Plan Manage Documents into the Document Control library. Actively facilitate site training (New Miner, Mid-Year, Art, Etc.) Collaborate with S&H and other division safety committee leaders to align safety topics with all divisions within Nevada Gold Mines. Attend safety divisions safety meetings. Manage all active S&H Training PO's Meeting planning & facilitation, directing and tracking progress of training team action items. Frequent interaction with multiple work groups inside and outside of the division, working with miners, technicians, technical/support staff, supervision, and management . Assist in the development and implementation oftraining programs forcompetency. Assist in the implementation of a Competency Based Training system that ensuresinformation is delivered in a manner that employees will retain. Control all training records within the Damstra LMS Emqnet Log Keeper for Incident Command On-call duties as required Other duties as required Qualifications:
MSHA Instructor Certification (blue card) preferred Five (5) years of experience in construction, mining or heavy equipment industryrequired Proven experience in working with peer groups and focus teams required Ability to driveresults and ensurecompletion of time sensitive deadlines required Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Excellent leadership skillsand knowledge of influencing others required Ability to promotesafety in trainingand lead by example required Competent computer skillsincluding Microsoft Office;Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required Proven safe work record required What We Can Offer You
