Responsibilities:
Ensure proper and timely collection, documentation, and delivery of geologic samples. Perform geologic data entry in Acquire and Excel. Forklift operation for UG sampling. Assist geology with underground mapping and photo registration. Maintain department consumables. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to work safely in underground mining environment required Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles required Ability to work within a team environment required Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required Demonstrated safe work habits and ability to work with minimal direct supervision required Capable of lifting 30lbs repetitively and lifting 50lbs for short periods of time required Minimum of two years' experience in underground, open pit mine operations or exploration preferred Familiarity with various Microsoft software preferred Familiarity with Vulcan, PointStudio, and other software packages preferred
