Summary - Engineering Lab Technician – CMT: We are currently seeking candidates interested in working in a hands-on, field-based role performing tests on construction materials. This is a great opportunity for candidates who prefer to be working outdoors and are looking for 40+ hours per week. Overtime will be paid out at 1.5 times pay rate.
Responsibility Summary - Engineering Lab Technician - CMT:
Performs field quality control tests on plastic concrete.Performs field density testing on soil, asphalt and aggregate.Performs routine laboratory tests on soil, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials.Prepares written daily field observation reports and summary reports.Obtain and maintain all required safety training and certifications which could include, but are not limited to: OSHA 10 Hour, CPR/First Aid, and defensive driving.Adhere to all the safety requirements of the position while assisting team members to do the same.Performs all other duties as assigned.Qualification Summary - Engineering Lab Technician - CMT
High school diploma is requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering preferred but not necessaryPreferred experience in engineering field inspectionsPreferred ACI Certification but not requiredValid Driver’s licenseAbility to meet the compliance requirements (drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check)Ability to meet the physical requirements\#IND1
