PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: 

Primary responsibility is to provide information and instruction to Guests /visitors/members inquiries in regards to the operation of fitness equipment, exercise classes, provide spa guests with insight into spa journey and assist and oversee their needs while in the spa and health club facilities; locker room, pool, fitness center, and spa. Provide guests with tours, facility escorts, water, towels and stocked amenities throughout.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: 

Maintain complete knowledge of:

o   All hotel features / services, hours of operation

o   All Spa services

o   Spa products

o   Fitness Center programs

o   Scheduled daily group activities.

Maintain complete knowledge and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures

Notify supervisor of any safety hazards 

Handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures

Maintain cleanliness of Fitness Center, Aerobic Room, Pool, Locker Rooms, Spa Common Areas

Dispose of any dirty linens in the proper area

Attend all required meetings and training sessions

Provide instruction of fitness equipment while keeping safety in mind at all times

Ability to focus attention on guests’ needs while remaining calm and courteous

Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up

Ability to focus on details

Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision

Legibly document maintenance needs and submit to manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.

Ability to lift 20 lbs.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: 

High School graduate.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
