What You'll Do:
- Deliver routine daily medications, both prescription and non-prescription, with utmost accuracy and care.
- Work closely with nurses and medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care and medication management.
- Record medication dosages and times, observe and document patient conditions, and contribute to meticulous patient records.
- Collect samples for analysis while ensuring the integrity and labeling of specimens.
- Follow written and verbal medication management instructions according to facility requirements, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Keep equipment clean and well-maintained, uphold all health and safety standards, and respond promptly to patient needs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Certified Medication Technician certification
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Medication Technician or similar role
- Experience working in assisted living or long-term care required
- Willingness to any shift, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills dedicated to patient care
- Must have a professional nurse entrepreneur mindset
