WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This person will work with the Product Management team to help drive the development and launch of our sneaker products on close to market timelines. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sneakers, a keen eye for market trends, and a natural interest in fashion and consumer knowledge. This role will support and report into the Senior Product Manager on the team helping to manage our projects and calendar. An effective communication and efficiency is a huge part of what will make someone successful in this role.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
This role will support the seasonal briefing by co-authoring new creation and new material/color/graphic briefs, as well as supporting the creating of seasonal line plans.
â¢Â   Evaluate and review product with a clear thought process through price/value, consumer personas, and brand strategy.
â¢Â   Help manage the process and track our monthly product Intake requests from geos.
â¢Â   Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Â
â¢Â   Create and update our visual line plans and ensure that all product information is accurate and accounted for.
â¢Â   Own the submission of range planning for the teamsâ new product creation.
â¢Â   Educate the team on consumer analysis of whatâs trending, illustrate consumer insights, and make recommendations to team.Â
â¢Â   Lead our weekly product meetings with design and development to ensure we are tracking progress for all projects.Â
â¢Â   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inline product merch, design, development, geo partners, and marketing to bring new products to market.
â¢Â   Responsible for sample management.
â¢Â   Provide administrative support to the Product Management team as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
â¢Â   Bachelorâs degree required plus 3+ years of footwear product industry experience.Â
â¢Â   Industry experience with footwear design/creation, development, and product life cycle management.Â
â¢Â   KeyNote, Powerpoint, Excel skills
â¢Â   Ability to develop business relationships cross functionally with key stakeholders.
â¢Â   Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must be able to communicate effectively based on audience.
â¢Â   Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and market trends.
â¢Â   Team player mentality and operational excellence to assist with the teams processes
â¢Â   Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities while working on multiple projects.
â¢Â   Passion for sneakers and a deep understanding of the sneaker market, culture, and proactive to finding trends
â¢Â   Proficient understanding of the footwear product creation process and general knowledge of the components of footwear and materials.
