Description

Our team is a part of a group within Apple's ML platform organization, that enables ML teams to support ML lifecycle project, such as: data engineering, labeling, training, online and offline evaluation, experimentation and more. Within our group, you will closely collaborate with: design, backend infrastructure, ML engineering and project management teams to brainstorm, prototype and bring features into production. Our team takes full ownership of both web frontend and backend projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge in frontend, backend and cloud technologies like: TypeScript, React, etc.; Golang, GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Kafka etc; AWS, GCP, Azure, K8s etc
  • You have a strong and continued record of delivering high impact projects through partnership across organization boundaries with: product, design and infrastructure teams
  • You have a minimum of 5 years developing and maintaining rich web applications for data intensive systems
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, or in a related field


Preferred Qualifications

  • Good sense of design and passion for UX and developer experience
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate about technical and architectural problems and work with key partners to iteratively solve the problems
  • Experience in machine learning is a plus but not required


Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
