Senior Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for estates, trusts, and high net worth individuals
- Provide tax planning and advisory services, ensuring compliance with tax laws
- Conduct research on tax issues and identify savings opportunities
- Collaborate with clients and professionals to gather tax information
- Manage client relationships and deliver outstanding service
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- 3 years of tax accounting experience with estates and trusts focus
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency in tax software

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
