We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Critical Care Physician to join
our team in South Carolina on a locum tenens basis. This is an inpatient,
ongoing assignment, with expedited credentialing available for a clean
background.
**_Qualifications:_**
* Board-certified or eligible in Critical Care Medicine
* Valid South Carolina medical license
* ACLS, DEA, and NRP certifications required
**_Practice Setting:_**
* Join a facility with 6 PICU beds and 2 additional observation beds
* Average volume of 2-4 PPD, with approximately 2,800 annual births
* Support staff includes an additional physician and a full team of sub-specialty backup
** _Schedule:_**
* Inpatient position
* 15-16 shifts per month, ongoing
* 24-hour shifts (7am - 7am)
* Call is required
**_Cases & Procedures:_**
* Provide general rounding and patient care for critically ill pediatric patients
* Perform essential procedures such as intubation, line placement, and spinal taps
