Accounting Assistant needed in Fort Lauderdale

Pridestaff Financial on behalf of a client is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join their growing team

Duties:

  • Daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Process month and year end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, check runs, debt activity.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelorâs Degree in Accounting or in process
  • Advanced level in Excel
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task

Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
