  • JOB SUMMARYThe Stress Testing RN provides supervision of the Cardiac Exercise Test to include the following: Echocardiography, Pharmacological Stress Echocardiography, Exercise Stress Testing, and Stress Radionuclide Cardiac Imagine (exercise and pharmacological) under the direct supervision of a physician.
  • This position records and evaluates the professional nursing care provided to patients in the Nuclear Imaging and Cardiology Department for ages 18 to geriatrics.
  • Serve as RN supervising exercise tests, stress echocardiography, pharmacological stress echocardiography and stress radionuclide cardiac imaging.
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and equipment safety.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
