BY SPECIALTY:
- Outpatient Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Pediatrics, Family Practice, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Hospitalist, Neurology, Psychiatry, Rheumatology.
- Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Pathology, Pulmonary, Radiology, Urology.
- Assignment includes providing comprehensive and continuing health and medical care services within the specialty.
- Participates with management in planning, instituting, evaluating and revising medical program plans; assist in determining conditions, resources, and policies essential to delivery of health services.
- Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history, and requests and/or performs diagnostic test and examination deemed necessary to obtain all possible information related to each case.
- Make preliminary diagnosis, directs, prescribes, and provides treatment. Makes progress notes of observation to be incorporated into the clinical records.
