We are looking for a Global Auditing Expert & Certification Manager in USA. Your mission will be to:

Manages the certification audit processes for Merieux NutriSciences Certification (MNCert) Services to ensure compliance with all accreditation processes; along with, financial and quality targets. This role is responsible for setting policies and procedures for internal and external use and working with the Accreditation Body (AB) on our ISO accreditations. As part of the "Becoming a Full Solution Provider" pillar, we intend to considerably expand Expert Services to capture increasing customer demands for higher-end services and long-term partnerships, including Auditing.. A Global Expert Services Hub has been created to foster the development of these services. This Hub will work as a knowledge center responsible for collecting and sharing offers, expertise, materials, best practices and internal training. This position is set up to grow and expand a global expertise of the technical training activities within the company by sharing the global auditing processes and training to ensure compliance with all accreditation, quality processes and technical robustness.* Develop, maintain and execute systems, policies and procedures to ensure MNCert, auditor and client compliance with AB, ISO 17021 and 17065, and Certification Program Owner (CPO) requirements.* Using systems and policies as the basis, develop and maintain applicable SOPs and guidance documents, MNCert quality manual and auditing forms/tools.* Manage processes for certification office functions, including client certification applications/questionnaires, proposals, technical report reviews, certificate issues, notifications to AB and CPOs, ensuring on-time recertification and use and application of CPO and AB databases.* Manage certification decision process for MNCert in conjunction with Global MNCert Technical Manager.* Conduct internal self audits of certification offices and MNCert critical office locations.* Manage certification suspension and withdrawal processes for certified facilities to ensure AB and CPO compliance, including being a primary member of the decision team for any suspensions and withdrawals.* Ensure Certification Body (CB) processes comply with US regulations related to third party accreditations.* Manage certification client relations by working directly with existing and potential clients to understand and meet their certification needs. This includes working with the auditing management team and sales on requests for proposals, client meetings, etc.* Manage customer complaint and appeal process related to certification audits.* Manage MNCert and customer surveys related to certification audits and analyze data to provide feedback to auditors and auditing support staff and drive continuous improvement.* Develop and manage monitoring and communication systems related to product recalls to ensure integrity of issued client certifications.* Sustain a non-voting membership on the MNCert External Advisory Council.* Manage certification support team to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.* Ensure ongoing personnel training to business, Human Resource, applicable technical and certification systems* Manage staffing in all aspects of their job including personnel development plans.* Serve as one of the primary members of a technical review team for all certification audit reports and act as an advisor to auditors for technical issues and continuous compliance and improvement.* Conduct witness audits of auditors as part of MNCert accreditation with primary accountability for performance in North America.* Manage auditor related certification processes; which includes training, approval, and registrations in North America, and manage auditor food sector category assignments.* Act as technical resource to clients, primarily in North America, for questions and information related to third party accredited certifications.* Act as one of MNCert primary contacts for CPOs and represent MNCert at CPO's CB meetings and conferences as applicable.* Speak at client and trade association conferences on third party accreditations, CPO interpretations and other relevant topics.* Attain and maintain applicable certifications for job scope. Complete necessary audits to maintain these approvals.* Support corporate quality and continuous improvement processes.Hub Expert Responsibilities:* Develop, update and share the technical knowledge of GFSI audits and accreditation to maintain MNCertification credibility and strong technical reputation* Develop, maintain & make available the group catalog of services and capabilities* Help in designing auditing services offers for GKA (RFP incl. services, pricing, delivery model...) to meet their requirements; can participate in customer meetings and projects as needed* Provide support to regional expert services leaders, marketing teams, country managers and sales teams to meet customer requests for auditing services* Provide global technical training to assure auditors integrity, training for technical review experts, and training and expertise for auditing administrative staff* Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (training, customer satisfaction, usage of content...etc) in order to provide reports and recommendations on audits activities development* Develop internal communication tools to ensure an efficient promotion of the hub at the global level* Perform other related duties as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

This position requires individual analysis of each situation to determine the optimal solution. Situations range from those involving the accreditation process, the accreditation body, CPO owners to clients. All of these situations can have negative financial and reputation impacts if not addressed. Accreditation issues can occur if MNCert is found to be non-compliant in its processes and procedures and can lead to suspension or having our accreditation revoked, which means audits could not be done. Issues can occur when client requests are not met, results are different than anticipated, processes are not followed, or personnel are not available. Client issues are often unique and require the incumbent to select among several different alternatives to maintain client business. This individual uses previous experience and seeks guidance from senior management and peers within MNCert and auditing to obtain a solution to the problem. Issues may not have immediate answers and the incumbent must work with both internal and external personnel to address them.

Required skills: Incumbent must have a broad knowledge of food safety and food technology obtained from an advanced degree in a technical field or through significant related job experience. Detailed knowledge of third party accreditation programs and processes is necessary to perform this job. Well-developed managerial and interpersonal skills are required to foster a culture that focuses on client and employee satisfaction. Experience in auditing of food processing facilities is necessary to understand the concerns and challenges of clients and auditors. Planning skills and methods are essential to continually improve the services provided to the client and operating efficiencies. Client empathy and a general knowledge of service attributes that support high client satisfaction are required to provide proactive and responsive service to the client. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential to help build positive relationships and maintain professional relationships with auditors and clients. Individual must be able to remain calm and control emotions when dealing with a client who is upset or difficult. Incumbent must have supervisory skills to effectively lead work teams. As a Hub Expert, the incumbent must have strong transversal and influencing management skills, be fluent in English, at ease with International scope of work and coordination and have an appetite for structure and rigor.

This position makes the decisions regarding whether MNCert can certify the client facilities it audits. These decisions have both financial and industry impacts, since by certifying a facility, MNCert is declaring the facility has compliant food safety management practices to produce safe products. Management: The incumbent is accountable for tracking compliance to accreditation and other relevant systems and performance in terms of numbers of active certifications held by MNCert and certificates issued monthly. The incumbent receives general guidance from the Regional Vice Presidents, the Global Expert Services HUB, peers within MNCert and the MNCert Advisory Council. The incumbent works toward long term objectives established with auditing, and Company management. Review of work occurs on a regular basis to ensure that procedures are followed and client needs are met. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a work environment that promotes quality service for the client that reliably meets or exceeds their expectations. This position provides supervision to certification department personnel. Supervisory responsibilities include hiring and terminating, training, performance appraisals, disciplinary procedures, establishing priorities, and review of work. This position provides indirect supervision to auditors via technical reviews of their reports and continuous system improvements. Work Environment: The incumbent will work from their home with proper lighting and temperature control while not on assignment. Manual dexterity is essential to create

work products on the computer. Travel can be expected.
