About Us: Peak Sports MGMT is a leading third-party multimedia rights organization specializing in partnering with college athletic departments to optimize their corporate partnerships and ticket sales. In collaboration with multiple college athletic departments across the country, Peak Sports MGMT is tasked with overseeing and generating all of the corporate partnerships and ticket revenue as the multimedia rights holder of said Athletic Departments. We excel in maximizing brand exposure, revenue generation, and partnership fulfillment for our clients, helping them achieve their financial and strategic advertising objectives.


Position Overview: 
The Director of Sales and Partnerships Services plays a pivotal role in spearheading outbound sales efforts to secure new partnerships, nurturing existing relationships to ensure renewal and upselling opportunities, managing client hospitality initiatives, and overseeing all aspects of partnership fulfillment and activation for FDU Knights Athletics within the Teaneck, New Jersey area, and outside of it. The Director of Sales and Partnership Services works closely with their Regional Sales Director to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue potential and will work closely with the Director of Contract Performance and Director of Employee and Sponsor Engagement to maximize fulfillment and client hospitality efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities with businesses interested in partnering with the designated athletic department.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sponsors through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building.
  • Utilize market research and industry insights to tailor sponsorship packages that align with the needs and objectives of potential partners.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial terms for both parties.
  • Serve as the initial primary point of contact for prospective sponsors, guiding them through the partnership process and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Charged with leveraging relationships and negotiation skills to renew existing clients once their contractual obligations are expiring
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and maintain those key objectives
  • Actively manage client expectations and provide ongoing support to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with internal teams to execute partnership agreements and deliver on contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate the implementation of marketing initiatives, sponsor activations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular progress reports to clients.
  • Capture and compile proof of sponsorship fulfillment by keeping an organized activation book of different corporate fulfillment elements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the sports sponsorship
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
