- Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
- The MetroHealth System is redefining health care by going beyond medical treatment to improve the foundations of community health and well-being: affordable housing, a cleaner environment, economic opportunity and access to fresh food, convenient transportation, legal help and other services.
- Serves as a primary contact for the Emergency Department, the Trauma Team, and Life Flight patients.
- Responds as a member of the Trauma Activation Team by obtaining and verifying patient information.
- Achieves the optimal reimbursement for The MetroHealth System through registration, benefits verification, payor preauthorization, making payment arrangements, and cash collection activities for outpatient and Life Flight services that were utilized by the patient.
- Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
- Associate's Degree in Health Care Management, OR in a related field with a course work concentration in areas such as medical billing, health care data collection, reimbursement, and/or professional service recovery.
- All qualified applicants must pass the PSR pre-employment screening test with a score of 75% or better, AND the post-employment test with a score of 80% or better.
