Summary

Duty Location: Boulder City, Nevada



Duties

This position is being advertised concurrently to the public under vacancy announcement BOR-LCB-24-DE-12367389-MW. Applicants interested in applying under both announcement numbers, must submit application packages for each job announcement.

At the Full Performance Level Duties consist of:
-Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer reported incidents.
-Reports, responds to, and resolves customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
-Enters, updates and maintains problems in the ticketing system to track and identify customer needs.
-Installs, configures, and evaluates software on customer workstations; and installs, configures upgrades, and troubleshoots hardware and software components.
-Participates in evaluating the effectiveness of customer support services and impacts of proposed IT initiatives to services. Researches and provides responses to unique customer service requests, as well as discussing resolutions with the customer.
-Ensures application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of customer support services.
-Skilled in written and oral communications in order to provide guidance and advice to customers and in communicating with co-workers and supervisor.

If selected at the lower grade level, you will be assigned developmental duties.
