Overview of Role 
As a Sr. Memory Circuit Design Engineer for AI or high-performance computing application, you will have the opportunity to work with TSMC’s leading process technology and portfolio of design enablement solutions to unleash innovation for the global semiconductor industry. Join us in the San Jose Design Office and be part of the team that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of semiconductor manufacturing. We are currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office.

 

Responsibilities 
•    SRAM related circuit design  
•    Timing/Power/Area analysis and improvement 
•    Read/Write margin and Noise analysis
•    Power/Signal IR/EM analysis 
•    Supervise layout, compiler coding, and interpretation of testing results
 
Minimum Qualifications 
•    Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Science Engineering with 3+ years of industry experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Science Engineering plus 5+ years of industry experience
•    In depth knowledge of memory design, digital integrated circuits, logic design, DFT (design for testing)
•    Hands-on experience on running SPICE simulation for custom circuit
•    Must have good teamwork attitude and good communication skills
   
Preferred Qualifications
•    TSMC N7 and below technology
•    High performance or low power implementation methodology
•    In-depth knowledge in one or more areas of memory technology (SRAM, RRAM, MRAM, and PCRAM), memory macro (sense amplifier and write circuitry), or HPC/Low power designs
•    Good knowledge of Verilog is a plus
•    Proficiency of Perl/Tcl is a plus

Pay Transparency Statement
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $108,000 and $162,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
 
TSMC’s total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, allowances, bonuses and comprehensive benefits. We also offer extensive development opportunities and programs.
