Outpatient Therapy Clinic – MedCare–Rise Pediatric Rehab Center
The basic function of the Clinical Director is to manage, coordinate and direct the professional staff providing patient care in accordance with State and Federal guidelines. The Clinical Director will be responsible for total oversight of our Houston branch location, including daily operations of all administrative staff and therapists while managing target goals established by leadership.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, OR Speech Language PathologistAt least 3 years of experience in medical practice managementTraining or experience in healthcare administration or at least 2 years of administrative or supervisory experience in a healthcare–related fieldAbility to read, write, and comprehend EnglishBilingual is a plus but not requiredResponsibilities:
Ensure adherence to Rise policies and procedures at all times.Oversee daily operations of the entire clinic including management of staff, client care concerns, and administrative functions.Manage client care complaints and client safety while on site.Work with leadership to reach fiscal goals set annually.Direct the scheduling of patient case review conferences to determine appropriate treatment.Communicate pertinent information to all patient care personnel concerning significant changes in a patient's status.Oversee work schedules, assign personnel, evaluate work performance, and make recommendations for personnel actions.Receive recommendations regarding patient care policies from the Utilization/Quality Assurance Committee.Ensure all clinical records are maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures.Review written policies and procedures regarding infection control and maintenance of a sanitary environment.Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.Inspect clinical areas daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.Facilitate positive problem resolution in the best interest of the patient and the team.Maintain a cooperative relationship between employees and management.Seek opportunities to develop the clinical team by nurturing, advising, and guiding peers.Adjust staffing to meet needs and provide adequate coverage.Ensure adequate stock of supplies and proper function of equipment.Perform interviews for clinical job applicants and oversee the orientation process of new clinical employees.Conduct clinical staff performance evaluations.Assist in marketing and recruiting programs as needed.Observe patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Develop and monitor Patient and Staff Quality Improvement Surveys with necessary follow–up.Ensure that all employees reporting to this position are active in their positions.Other duties as requested by the Administrator/CEO.About Us:
