**Wellstar Medical Group** is seeking **a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant** to work at an established clinic in Augusta, GA who functions as an integral part of the healthcare team; serves various roles, including working directly alongside faculty and staff, providing care to the entire spectrum of patient acuity levels, working semi-autonomously and serving as a provider to initiate appropriate care, including laboratory studies and/or imaging as indicated, at the front end of a patient\'s visit. The APP-Ambulatory works in the ambulatory/clinic setting only.
**Required Minimum Skills**
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
* Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
* Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records
**Specific Additional Duties Assigned:**
* Communicate with the patient and family and update them on plans of care along with any changes (positive and negative) in condition or management.
* Communicate plans of care to the nursing staff daily.
* Sign out pertinent patient issues to the Pediatric Infectious Disease Attending prior to leaving for the day.
