Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens position in Amory, Mississippi

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join our healthcare team in
Mississippi and provide sporadic coverage. This assignment offers a flexible,
long-term opportunity with weekly pay.
** _Practice Setting:_**
* 16-bed Emergency Department
* Level 4 Trauma Center
* Patient population is primarily adults with some pediatrics
* Advanced Practice Provider support available for approximately 10-12 hours per day
** _Cases and Procedures:_**
* Bread and butter emergency medicine cases
* Providers should be comfortable managing a variety of emergency conditions
** _Schedule:_**
* 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM)
* Approximately 7-14 days per month. Shifts are often sporadic, but may include multiple consecutive days
* No on-call responsibilities
** _Requirements:_**
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
* Providers with Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and extensive emergency medicine experience may be considered
* Active Mississippi medical license and DEA registration
* ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
* Minimum of 24 months of emergency medicine experience preferred
** _Travel and Lodging:_**
* Travel and lodging accommodations are provided
