Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in McKinney, TX. Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.
Position Highlights
The practice has a team of 6 physicians, 4 midwives, and 1 nurse practitionerPractice has a solid patient base and reputation that has been built up for over 25 years in the Dallas metro area3 days of clinic per week with an average daily patient census of 20-22Practice team consists of 6 OB/GYN physicians1 day of call per week assisting physician team with deliveries. AMCB Certified Nurse-MidwifeGraduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) licenseCPR and NALS CertificationCurrent Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtainOne year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferredLabor & Delivery experience preferredCity/Location Highlights
