Position Overview:

The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing the external analysis of Hologic's business. This critical position requires a blend of financial expertise, strategic communication skills, and the ability to craft narratives about the company's performance and future prospects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance and financial reporting, coupled with exceptional attention to detail, review and writing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investor Communication: Partner to develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries and communications.
  • Financial Reporting: Drive the preparation and dissemination of financial reports, earnings releases, and other relevant documents to ensure accurate and timely information is provided to the investment community.
  • Strategic Messaging: Craft and deliver clear, compelling, and consistent messages about Hologic's financial performance, business strategies, and growth opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Event Coordination: Support planning and execution of investor events, including earnings calls, investor conferences, and annual meetings. Prepare presentations, scripts, and Q&A materials.
  • Compliance: Ensure all investor communications and disclosures comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including finance, legal, and corporate communications, to gather information and align messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or a related field, with a proven track record in a publicly traded company of similar size and global complexity.
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and capital markets.
    • Exceptional writing, reviewing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proactive, flexible, and quick on their feet with a natural curiosity.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $184,900 to $205,500 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
