Job Description: BA/ Functional QA Analyst
  • 7+ years' experience in testing with experience in financial domain.
  • Should have strong SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) reports / Tableau testing (Nice-to-have).
  • Experience in UNIX and scheduling tools (Ex: Autosys).
  • Strong knowledge of Software design lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze, understand translate requirements into Test scenarios/Test Cases.
  • Experience in using HP ALM, JIRA or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with any of the specific financial area of support Actuarial, Retail Banking, Mortgage/Trade/Retirement products (not mandatory).
  • Proficient in SDLC QA process and deliverables - Test Plan, Test estimation, RTM, Test Cases, Test Reports, Defect Triages & UAT governance.
  • Experience in leading a testing team ( Nice-to-have).
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and developing improved procedures.
  • Define project requirements by managing project milestones, forming project teams, and establishing project budgets.
