Senior Software Engineer
Fidelity Investments Workplace Investing (WI) organization is looking for a Senior Software engineer to help build, expand and enhance WS communication's ecosystem whilst being customer obsessed. This person will play a key role in building, testing and release of product features in Agile delivery fashion.

The Team

Fidelity's Workplace Communications chapter is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in the building and enhancement of a new platform for communications. Part of this work includes utilizing event driven architecture and cloud technologies to ensure we are meeting participant demand. This person will perform hands-on development and testing of many of these key areas. As a scrum team member, you will be part of a dynamic team with an opportunity to partner closely with the business and technology teams and will be a key enabler in creation/adoption of the technology. You are encouraged to quickly gain an understanding of all the components of our platform to be able to lead and contribute to initiatives related to the improvement, maintenance, and support of the platform. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, hardworking, and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment.

 The Expertise You Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience 5+ years’ experience in analyzing, designing and developing platforms Experience with CI/CD and software version control Proven experience with Java, Angular, springboot, Restful API’s, oracle database and docker Experience with Azure and other cloud-based development methodologies / best-practices

The Skills You Bring

Experience with: Git, Java, Jenkins, Docker, Azure, Angular, Node, Restful API’s Must be able to communicate optimally to the tech lead, team members and the squad/ chapter lead Developing and deploying 12-factor, containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) API’s to AWS/Azure Should possess an open mindset, help team grow and a quick learner in case of new technologies Ability to work in an agile environment
