The Journeyman Electrician/ General Maintenance position will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the stadium and other areas as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring that occur in a commercial setting.
- Review and perform maintenance on electrical components of the magnetometers
- Rework electrical to accommodate renovations as needed
- Review and repair as needed all campus lighting
- High voltage experience preferred but not required
- Independently run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty section of wiring, lay conduit and perform other tasks as necessary.
- Work closely with all maintenance staff to assist in the preventative maintenance of the building systems.
- Work with other maintenance staff in daily general maintenance of the facility.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Journeyman Electrician certificate or higher.
- General Carpentry skills are a plus.
- Valid driver license.
- Aerial lift experience is required.
- Fork Lift/ Bobcat experience is a plus.
- College degree preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to perform job effectively.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate projects from implementation through completion.
- Work schedule must be flexible – evenings and weekends required as needed based on schedule and other events. On call as required.
- Experience in a similar field is required
- Must be able to work in a collaborative and team oriented environment.
Salary range: $50,950 tp $70,056. Actual salary will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity.
