Key Responsibilities- Electrical Inspections and Repairs: Conduct thorough electrical inspections to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Instrumentation Maintenance: Maintain and repair instrumentation equipment to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Work Order Management: Initiate and manage work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper charging of inventory parts through work orders.
- Power Distribution Systems: Maintain knowledge of power distribution systems and perform tasks as needed.
- Transformer and Motor Maintenance: Install, maintain, and adjust transformers, motors, switches, etc.
- Switchgear and Motor Control Circuit Maintenance: Perform low and medium voltage terminations and switchgear maintenance, as well as troubleshoot and maintain starters, VFDs, and motor control circuits.
- Electrical Calculations and Testing: Perform electrical calculations and use test equipment to ensure accurate readings.
- Conduit and Soldering Operations: Fabricate and install conduit, perform soldering operations, and align electrical motors.
- Control Valve and Actuator Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot control valves, actuators, and positioners.
- CMMS System Navigation: Use precision measuring tools and navigate the CMMS system.
- Thermography and Hydraulic/Pneumatic System Maintenance: Understand thermography, maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and repair cameras and monitors.
- PLC and Sensing Device Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and various sensing devices.
- Maintenance Tool Management: Keep maintenance tools in good condition and possess a complete set of personal hand tools.
- Post-Job Inspections and Mobile Equipment Operation: Perform post-job inspections and operate small mobile equipment.
- Vendor and Company-Designated Training: Participate in vendor and company-designated training.
- Electrical Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Apprenticeship or Technical Program: Completion of an apprenticeship or technical program.
