This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Procedural dutieswill include performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy procedures, PEG placement, esophageal dilation.
  • Clinical dutieswill include diagnosing, treating and managing patients referred for management of GI disorders including liver disease, Hepatitis C, and liver transplants based on standard and customary methods and techniques in the outpatient setting. ERCP skill is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
  • Gastroenterology on-call responsibilities will be shared with the other Gastroenterologist(s) on staff. The physician will report to the Chief of Medicine or his designee. The physician shall be expected to cooperate with and participate in medical duties or functions related to quality of care, peer review and other performance improvement activities at the direction of the Chief of Medicine.
