JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Intern, Fan & Community Engagement oversees fan & community engagement initiatives, special events and promotions. This position also assists with marketing functions and game presentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Honor our working values and participate as part of the team.

• Oversee all aspects of the Railroaders’ community programs, reading program, marketing tables at various community events.

• Oversee scheduling of community engagement and special events, including the coordination of player and mascot appearances.

• Fill and record all community donation requests and keep accurate record of donation inventory, including autographed items.

• Maintain strong relationships with key community partners and non-profits.

• Represent the Pirates and Marauders at local networking and promotional events.

• Update internal and public calendars of community appearances and promotional events.

• Coordinate and execute all aspects of in-game promotions and theme nights.

• All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Adobe-Suite- Photoshop and Premiere preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills, including writing and grammatical ability.

• Excellent multitasking and organization skills.

• Ability to work in tight deadlines.

• Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends and some holidays.

• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented
