The iconic Asher Adams, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is an adaptive reuse of the historic Union Pacific Depot. The proposed project includes a new 8-story, 212-key infrastructure, alongside an additional 13 keys in the renovated Depot, totaling 225 keys altogether. The property is located across the street from Delta Center, home of the NBA's Utah Jazz and over 150 events scheduled annually at the 18,000-person arena.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival
  • Escort guests to their tables and ensure seating arrangements are organized
  • Provide menus, answer questions, and make recommendations
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and servers to ensure timely service
  • Assist with taking reservations and managing the waiting list
  • Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and service excellence

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills
