The Program Manager acts as a liaison with various teams and personnel to manage projects in the engineering and product management areas. In particular, focus on new product development and CIP. Manage and maintain the NPI (New Product Introduction) process. Focus these efforts on the company's strategic goals and the specific projects' tactical goals.

A Day in the Life:

  • Coordinate and track assigned programs within the engineering and product management areas.
  • Resolve problems in assigned programs using innovative solutions and interface with others in the company.
  • Provide timeline and fiscal oversight on assign projects.
  • Focus these efforts to meet the company's strategic goals and the program's specific tactical goals.
  • Challenge and drive all CIP programs.
  • Challenge and drive all opportunities for strategic procurement.
  • Maintain and develop the NPI (New Product Development) process
  • Maintain and develop other management tools as necessary to drive the development process.
  • Prepare and present reports monthly on the status of assign programs.
  • Lead/drive decision points for project progress and funding and engage senior management as required for same.
  • Track industry trends, relevant legislation and competitor activities at a high level.
  • Step in and resolve critical problems as they arise in the Engineering and Product Management areas.

What you will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or engineering related field
  • 10 years of experience working in similar role
  • Experience developing project plans
  • Experience with database software; project Management software; spreadsheet software and Word processing software
  • Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS system
