PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To lead the business analysis efforts for implementations and large, multi-line projects; to review, analyze and document internal and client user needs; and to provide mentorship and leadership within the business analysis team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the requirements management efforts for large projects including new client implementations and strategic initiatives.

  • Devises and executes a requirements management plan; takes ownership of the business analysis role throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Identifies stakeholders, facilitates meetings, and ensures understanding of software requirements.

  • Collaborates with project managers, operations, IT representatives, and clients to align on project goals.

  • Produces comprehensive project requirements documentation using standard templates.

  • Mentors team members and supports their professional development.

  • Meets deadlines and manages work effectively within project timelines.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  • Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree required; major in computer science field preferred.

  • Experience: Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements strongly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of third-party administration/claims management business and technology.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; familiarity with Visio.

  • Analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently or within a team.

  • Initiative to meet or exceed performance competencies
