We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in San Tan Valley, AZ, to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.
This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. We are flexible with scheduling needs, and typically have availability for part-time or full-time.
We try to be flexible with your schedule needs, so this is a great opportunity for those looking to pick up extra hours or build a schedule outside of other engagements.
Successful hires earn a bonus of $1000 after 90 days of employment
Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
- Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care.
- Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN/the care team and documents pertinent information.
- Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake.
- Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients/clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees.
- Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies.
- Completes yearly education hours.
- Current CPR certification
- Current First Aid certification
- TB test & physical examination
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Good interpersonal skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients
- Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- 1+year of caregiving experience
$18 - $18 an hour$18/hr
$1000 engagement bonus
The engagement bonus is eligible for payment following 90 days of service to your patient(s) and the Company.*Payment terms and conditions may apply
