    Job Description

  • Maintaining relationships with key suppliers
Developing supplier performance metrics, tracking KPIs, and driving improvementsResolving supplier non-conformances in the production process by identifying the root cause and implementing solutionsAssist with external auditsTravel on-site to suppliersAssisting with the application and monitoring of established inspection procedures and methodsLeveraging data findings to implement improvements in the processPreparing documentation for customers and suppliers pertaining to quality standardsReviewing manufacturing instructions for completeness, correctness, and comprehension by assembly personnelGenerating standards for suppliers and internal processes

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of supplier quality engineering experienceBachelors degree in engineering or closely related fieldUnderstanding of AIAG core tools such as PPAPs and APQPStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes in the electronics spaceStrong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodologiesExposure to ISO 9001 quality standards (AS9100 or IATF preferred)Comfortable with travel around 25%
