Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master/Technical Business Analyst with strong JAVA Background to join our team.

Role: Scrum Master/ Technical Business Analyst with strong JAVA Background

Experience: 8+ years

Location: We are ideally looking for candidates willing to work ONSITE from the client location in Atlanta GA or Raleigh NC. Remote work is not an option.

Roles & Responsibilities

· 7 to 9 years of experience in as a Technical business analyst.

· Collaborate with stakeholders like product, engineering, QA to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.

· An ability to talk technically and on the process side that meet business needs and objectives.

· Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.

· Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.

· Strong communication along with project updates to stakeholders and executives.

· Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.

· Participate in release management, testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.

· Create technical documentation and interact with the dev and QA teams

· Basic knowledge of development practices, API dev and cloud concepts

· Work thru SIT and UAT

· Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each Sprint

· Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.

Required Skills

Strong background in banking, commercial or retail , authentication and authorization

Knowledge in Agile and scrum ceremonies

Knowledge in cloud, API is preferred

Proven track record on release management working across multiple teams including engineering, product, devops.

Data analysis skills are a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
