Introduction

We are looking for Asset Technicians to join our client in the renewable enery space based in the center of Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha). This is a great opportunity for growth. 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by Asset Managers
  • Conduct installation inspections and report on findings
  • Maintain accurate records of time spent on site and update fault logs
  • Provide detailed inspection and maintenance reports as required
  • Maintain asset registers and fault logs
  • Produce site inspection reports
  • Complete maintenance tasks within a reasonable time frame, focusing on addressing the root cause of faults
  • Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly, with accurate information provided to Asset Managers for further action if necessary
  • Ensure reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Degree or Diploma: Relevant qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy), or a related technical field
  • Previous experience as an Asset Technician 
  • Experience in the renewable energy/solar industry is Essential
