Duties: Participate in development and code based contributions to critical applications supporting the business. Assist with production application telemetry and health oversight spanning the entire product offering. Conduct work prioritization based off of client feedback and requests. Perform model creation for key business alignment through in-house and industry telemetry tools and applications. Adhere to Quality Assurance practices for all code repositories to ensure changes are in line with stakeholder expectations and firm wide standards. Participate in the implementation of automation through multiple languages across multiple code repositories. Understand, communicate, manage, and implement cybersecurity risks for the application suite. Understand industry and firm cloud technologies and migration standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Site Reliability Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Test Engineer, Project Manager, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Site reliability principles and implementing site reliability within an application or platform; programming languages including .NET with Design Pattern Principles, Micro Services, and JavaScript; software applications and technical processes including Cloud; observability for white and black box monitoring, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection using industry tools including Grafana, Dynatrace, LogA, Prometheus, Datadog, Jmeter, Blazemeter, and Splunk via Databus; continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins or GitLab; configuring and troubleshooting networking technologies; infrastructure solution in AWS; SQL Performance Tuning; and Profiling and Complex Queries with Databases including MySQL.
