Position Summary:

The Recruitment Specialist-Try Girl Scouts is responsible for increasing Girl Scout membership in target communities within the council by facilitating short introduction events, and then recruiting new volunteers to assist in carrying troops forward. The Recruitment Specialist-Try Girl Scouts also supports the onboarding of new Girl Scout adult volunteers and troops, and placement of girl members in existing Girl Scout troops.

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including many evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional computer programs as necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel to service centers and to meetings throughout the designated territory.
