The Manager of Assortment and Space Management is responsible for strategies around Assortment and Space Management teams. They will develop Category Review calendars to align with the Merchandising Teams strategies and seasonal space allocation shifts or transitions. Review and assign work streams to balance and align teams with Merchandising Divisional splits. They will provide guidance to teams overseeing the integration of member and syndicated information into category management initiatives, conducting analysis and developing category plans. They will provide oversight and lead work of Assortment and Space Management Lead and teams.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate Category review calendars that align with Merchandise strategies, seasonal space shifts and/or transitions. Monitor workflows to ensure teams stay on track to meet existing deadlines and project plans. Present recommendations to Category Merchants, Category Directors, and Merchandising Executives.
- Identify major business opportunities defined by the teams and prioritize projects based on value creation, appropriate time for execution, and to balance impact to clubs.
- Determine business opportunities and key drivers by analyzing data and providing recommendations for business improvement / growth.
- Analyze tracking reports to report out on performance of POG clubs, test areas and provide insights on opportunities or concerns on effectiveness to expectations.
- Give guidance and direct activities of Assortment and Space Management Leads and Analysts.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree Required
Job Conditions - This role reports to the Director of Assortment and Space Management.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $98,500.00.
