WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Practice Area Senior Coordinator (PAC) within BCGâs Principal Investors & Private Equity Practice Area (PIPE PA), you will execute and coordinate with minimal guidance defined activities and processes for the PA regionally and globally. In this role you will be part of the PAâs global Practice management & operations team, supporting the management of various practice initiatives, including PA meeting preparation, support leadership meetings/call scheduling, people engagement and drafting internal communications.

Practice Area Coordination and Management - More Specifically:

  • Act as Project Management Office (PMO) and act as a liaison and point of contact for PA members across PA initiatives.
  • Manage PIPE PA infrastructure, including communication channels, distribution lists, and collaboration tools and knowledge management systems.
  • Play central role in updating and maintaining PA brochures and reference materials.
  • Effectively driving the coordination and management of regional and global Practice Area meetings as well as other internal practice meetings and training sessions.
  • Support select PA budget and reporting tasks like Practice investments.

Internal Communication:

  • Drive various internal communication efforts across channels in collaboration with PA leadership and PA management & operations team members.

Affiliation Support:

  • Support regional and global PA people engagement, training and affiliation initiatives.
  • Run underlying PA people affiliation database in close teaming with BCG HR function

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Building a strong network in the PA and beyond by leveraging a robust understanding of the PAâs business to make decisions
  • Supporting, and in some cases, driving complex, ambiguous PA processes that routinely require independent judgment, trade-offs or prioritization
  • Supporting and in some cases, driving the organization of internal and external PA regional affiliation meetings and events
  • Helping others navigate the practice network and supporting onboarding of team members
  • Accurately providing financial and business analysis
  • Exercising judgement to contribute beyond the PA, thinking analytically through alternatives

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 4-6+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelorâs degree preferred
  • The ability to handle defined PA processes or smaller projects with minimal guidance (sourcing, learning programs, etc.) preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, follow-through, ownership and accountability
  • Strong analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting tasks) and a structured way of thinking - preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Advanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

You will coordinate closely with Regional PA Leaders, the Global Practice Management Director, sector Managers/Directors as well as the Business Services team, alongside other Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.
