Your new role

As our new Senior Managing Consultant, you will join our global Air & Climate team that supports clients with a wide range of complex and challenging environmental issues.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Maintaining client relationships and managing the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner;
  2. Managing projects, clients, and regulatory agency relations;
  3. Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations, compiling and drafting regulatory applicability determinations, and communicating findings, to co-workers, clients, and regulatory agencies;
  4. Estimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources;
  5. Overseeing the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application materials;
  6. Serving as the technical lead overseeing Consultant-level staff on complex projects;
  7. Participating in local, national and international scientific and trade group meetings;
  8. Conducting site visits; and
  9. Meeting Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety requirements.

About you

These include:

  1. B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline
  2. 15+ years of air quality experience, largely in a consulting environment, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech medical device and life sciences industries
  3. Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
  4. Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
  5. Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
  6. Programming, database and GIS skills are preferred but not required
