BASIC PURPOSE : The Invoice Verifier will review and verify the validity of freight invoices, bills of lading (BOLs), and rate confirmations sheets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review bills of lading and invoicing for accuracy and validity.

  • Contact customers to verify the validity of bills of lading and rate confirmations.

  • Communicate with customers and team members.

  • Handle additional duties as needed.

JOB LOCATION, SCHEDULE & PAY:

  • Love's corporate office in Oklahoma City.

  • Work Schedule/Work Hours:

  • This will be a full-time position/Monday-Friday position.

  • Typical hours will be 8am-5pm and working overtime may be required depending on business need.

  • Compensation:

  • This position has a starting pay of $15/hour, and employees in this position will be eligible for additional compensation and benefits.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in transportation (trucking), billing, invoicing, banking, or customer service environment preferred.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of the trucking industry preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
