Works directly with the Clinical Director, Assistant Clinical Director, and Surgical Services Supervisory Nurse, and other key members of administration to fully plan and implement policies and procedures, performance improvement activities and patient care services specific to surgical services.
Exercises overall supervisory responsibility for the management and direction of surgical services.
Responsible for the diagnosis, care and treatment of inpatients, ambulatory care patients, and emergency cases in the capacity of a staff physician.
Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history, and requests and/or performs diagnostic tests and examinations.
Gives patient care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services to patients under his/her care.
