    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop single crystal products, leveraging expertise in foundry, casting, metallurgy, and industrial furnace operations.
Manage component manufacturing documentation, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and securing necessary approvals.Address and resolve issues related to manufacturing and testing of single crystal components.Define equipment specifications, refine manufacturing techniques, and integrate new process equipment to improve production efficiency.Review engineering changes and collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation.Propose modifications to design and development processes to enhance the quality of single crystal products.Create detailed engineering schematics and parts lists to support manufacturing planning and execution.Evaluate production practices and methods, providing recommendations for improvements and conducting time and method analyses.Lead initiatives to drive product and process improvements, ensuring all commitments are met in a timely and efficient manner.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.Strong understanding of various engineering concepts and principles.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, technical modeling software, and statistical analysis tools.
