Position Summary:

The Food and Beverage Coordinator will coordinate and perform administrative support for the Food and Beverage leadership team for Evelyn’s, Analog, Culinary and Banquets.  This position will serve as the administrative point of contact for internal and external communications to include complex and confidential concerns.

Job Requirements:

Maintain, administer and audit food and beverage systems including Toast (point of sale system) and Tripleseat (event management platform) Responsible for purchasing, receiving and occasional stocking of food and beverage supplies and small wares Research and source new products and vendors for outlet managers Ensure iBuyEfficient is utilized for purchasing when possible Ensure invoices are entered in iPlate system promptly Code all invoices to ensure proper distribution of expenses Enter all food invoices into the Food Cost tracker Enter all beverage invoices into the Beverage Cost tracker Inputs all data for end of month procedures and presents to Food and Beverage General Manager for timely approval Assists the Beverage Manager with end of month inventories by completing the physical count and data entry Ensures all end of month inventory prices are correct up to date for inventory count Inputs all data for end of month procedure and presents to Food and Beverage General Manager for approval Track staff attendance for all food and beverage outlets Responsible for auditing system reporting of charge tips and gratuity from special events to managers for accuracy of data input in UKG Responsible for forwarding accurate charge tip/gratuity reporting and backup reporting to payroll team on a weekly basis Fields all guest inquiries and internal communications regarding Evelyn’s private dining rooms and coordinates with restaurant management team to secure business Obtains full understanding of the First Hospitality Guidebook, all SOP’s, and processes to adhere to them personally and assist the management team in applying all in a fair and consistent manner Other duties as assigned by a member of the food and beverage management team or a member of the Executive Committee

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year experience in an administrative capacity ideally in a hospitality setting Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership Must be able to effectively communicate with a variety of personality types and situations Demonstrate excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines Strong sense of urgency and ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite at an intermediate skill level Detail oriented and high degree of organization and accuracy Able to sit at a desk/computer for hours at a time Able to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
