Works closely with guests, checks them in and out and resolves guest disputes. Works closely with housekeeping and night cleaning. Position is very hands on and requires significant customer interaction. This position will work a combination of 11:00pm - 7:00am and 3:00pm - 11:00pm shifts. This position's starting wage is $15.Essential Functions

  • Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
  • Maintains and operates property management system, in room movies, wake up calls, mini bars, call account system and other office systems and reports all service issues to appropriate personnel
  • Works closely with hotel guest checking them in and out, answering phones, making reservations and resolving customer complaints
  • Makes change
  • Performs all line positions during breaks and at peak times
  • Will be able to work varied shifts – i.e. days, nights, weekends, holidays
  • Knowledge of all promotions and events.
  • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
    • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
    • Must have two or more years related experience Physical Demands
      • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
      • Respond to visual and aural cues
      • Read, write, speak, and understand English
      • Able to work flexible shifts
      • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
      • Able to be confined to a small area for a long period of time Environmental Working Conditions
