- AleraCare, a provider of infusion treatments and specialty pharmacy services, has an exciting full-time opportunity for Infusion Nurse Practitioner for our San Jose and Mountain View infusion centers.
- The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing nursing services to assigned patients in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.
- Provides patient and/or family with health education, counseling, and referrals to other healthcare professionals and/or community resources when appropriate.
- Orders and/or interprets lab work and diagnostic tests according to patient need and/or plan.
- Stays current with medical advancements, new technology, new drugs through inservices, continuing education classes, society meetings, professional journals, etc.
- At least 4-5 years of advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) experience, ambulatory and infusion nursing experience is preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Current CPR card, advanced practice certification, current APRN licensure, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance.
