The Opportunity

Reporting to the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager and work direction of the Lead Maintenance Mechanic, the Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and service functions. This may include but not limited to: installations, maintenance, repairs, and fabrication of plant equipment and facilities. Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Who We Are

Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CREWS), is responsible for a variety of work streams and projects that allow our campuses to have a comfortable and safe workplace. The services the department provides range from building maintenance and repair, AV Setup/Installation, guest registration, badges/parking permits, space planning/moves, drawing requests and design, large scale projects, and café/catering services.

Your Impact

Assists in the installation, maintenance, repair and fabrication of plant equipment and facilitiesAssignments include but are not limited to building maintenance, phone data and electrical wiring, HVAC equipment, and plumbing.Performs periodic inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities in accordance with an established testing and preventive maintenance schedule and report findingsWorks from mechanical and/or electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructionsUnder minimal direction, works directly from the work ordersUses hand and power tools and other equipment as necessary to complete assignmentFollows all company safety and security proceduresMaintains a clean and orderly work area

What you Bring

High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience is required.Minimum of 5 years related maintenance experience requiredMust have primary and secondary trade skills (when working in a secondary trade, may be directed by others)Trade skills must include electrician, carpenter, pipefitter, air conditioning mechanic, welder, and/or machine repairerPreferred knowledge of HVAC, chiller/boiler equipment and electrical systemsMust be able to work overtime and weekends as assignedMust have the ability to repeatedly lift 50 poundsAbility to stand/walk for long periods of time and ability to bend, reach, and lift above shoulder Ability to push and pull fully loaded pallet jacks, climb stairs, and work on elevated surfaces/platform
