The team, consisting of 95+ highly skilled employees, is dedicated to executing top-notch output.

    Job Description

    The Estimator, Construction, is responsible for the following:

  • Review bid documents from clients - work scopes, sketches, overlays, or full project plans - to fully understand required scope of work
Prior to developing an estimate/bid proposal, coordinate with the Construction Project Manager assigned to the project to review bid documents and agree on a plan of action.Perform complete and accurate quantity take-offs from project plans.Prepare bid packages/detailed work scopes by trade for distribution to subcontractors to clearly define work scope for the major trades involved.Request material quotes from vendors supplying materials/services.Maintain accurate files for vendor quotes and subcontractor bids.Obtain multiple quotes for trade & material services, review all quotes in detail to confirm required scope is included.Negotiate with service providers for better rates.Attend/lead bid walks with clients and subcontractors.

The Estimator Candidate will possess the following skills

At least 10 years of experience in the construction industryMonitor and control projects through administrative directionEstablished relations with subcontractorsExperience in projects up to $25M preferredExperience in both renovation and ground up buildingVariety of project experience preferredBA in construction related fieldStrong communication skills and organizational skills
