The LoL PC Cosmetics team serves to create all the cosmetic content within League PC which drives revenue and deepens affinity for the IP for the game. As a Senior Game Product Manager on the League of Legends PC Cosmetics team, you will help create a strategy for what new and existing cosmetic content we should invest in - and be accountable for bringing that strategy to life. Responsibilities:
Support the development of long-term product strategy and work with analytics, product, and design teams to improve League of Legends’ cosmetic content ecosystemPartner with product teams to prioritize their efforts - accounting for delivery timelines, engagement impacts, and opportunity costsCommunicate strategic recommendations and product outcomes to business leaders and decision makersEnsure that monetization opportunities are integrated seamlessly into the game's content pipelineAnalyze player data, feedback and product results to inform decisions in a test and learn iteration loopAnalyze current spender ecosystem and game economy to make recommendations for new cosmetic content typesOwn and drive on development of said new cosmetic content typesPartner with designers and product owners across the game to guide design and product strategy decisions in a way that supports player-focused monetizationStrategize and optimize the roadmap of cosmetic content for a global audience with different tastesRequired Qualifications:At least 1 year experience in video game production, product management, consulting, or business strategy for consumer-facing productsExperience advising teams by applying a combination of a broad & deep gaming background, game design craft, and product strategy thinking5+ years of experience in product management or analytics for a gaming companyFocus on data-driven decision making or solving problems with incomplete information in the absence of data Ability to break down complex problems and problem spaces using various business or product frameworks and crafting optimal solutions for our players and our businessSelf motivated, and has a desire to work with people to navigate through ambiguityExperience working with game teams, including designers, engineers, artists Experience conducting and socializing competitive analysis of game monetization design and distilling results into impactful recommendationExperience using data to aid in conceptualizing, designing, and shipping a brand new monetization product, distribution mechanism, or system within the gamesDesired Qualifications:Experience conceptualizing, designing, and shipping a brand new monetization product, distribution mechanism, or system within the games industryExperience working for a games as a service type game modelExperience leading complex efforts with multiple collaboratorsFor this role, you'll find success through craft expertise and a collaborative spirit that prioritizes the delight of players.
