The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a full time Licensed Clinical Psychologist, who is interested in joining a virtual behavioral health collaborative care program and is committed to changing the care delivery experience for both patients and providers.

What you'll likely work on:

  • Manage the assessment and treatment of psychiatric concerns, psychosocial issues, and health behavior change through brief psychotherapeutic interventions delivered virtually
  • Participate in rounds with psychiatric consultant and care manager
  • Provide education and consultation to behavioral health care managers and primary care providers
  • Overseeing referrals to specialty mental health services and supporting a smooth transition from specialty mental health services to primary care and back
  • Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Providers across our national network to improve behavioral health skills company wide
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations to support short term disability and provide certification of short term disability
  • Work closely with Virtual Medical Directors, Clinical Operations Team and National Director of Virtual Behavioral Health Services

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

  • Must be either a licensed Clinical Psychologist PhD, PsyD or EdD in Psychology
  • Licensed to independently practice with no current supervision requirements
  • Must have an active license in Ohio license
  • For PhD/PsyD/EdD Candidates: 1 year post licensure with specific experience in adult outpatient diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy
  • Experience providing a range of brief, goal directed and focused clinical services
  • Has exceptional capacity to multitask, is flexible, and is comfortable with ambiguity
  • Has strong communication and teaching skills
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including 80% direct patient care and 20% administrative time
  • Eligible to be credentialed with our Health System Partner
  • Fluency in English
  • Reside within the USA or US Territories
  • Virtual psychotherapy experience (preferred)

  • HIPAA compliant area within home that is secure, quiet and isolated from others to protect PHI
  • Reliable internet connection

  • Clinical proficiency in a range of brief, goal directed and focused clinical services using cognitive-behavioral therapies (ACT, BT, CBT, DBT), brief interpersonal therapy and/or other evidenced short term models
  • Familiarity with measurement based care, ability to administer and interpret standardized patient reported outcome tools in monitoring treatment effectiveness and adjusting treatment as indicated
  • The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues and the ability to practice effectively within the dynamic organizational and financial structures of a primary care delivery system
  • An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
  • Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
  • Has exceptional capacity to multitask, is flexible, and is comfortable with ambiguity

This is a full-time, virtual role that requires a OH state license.

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $128,000 per year. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. For more information, visit .
